The Brass Phurpa (dagger) is a symbolic dagger used/carried by Tibetan Buddhist's. It is thought to "nail down" or "kill" evil demons (mental afflictions) such as Anger, Desire and Ignorance that prevent one from achieving peace and enlightement.
